Organic Germinated Hemp Seeds - 200g
Germinated and gently dried hemp seed. The power of awakened nature! You can eat as is, or add to all kinds of meals, whether whole or milled.
Hemp is often referred to as superfood because it contains over 48% of extremely good protein and up to 27% of polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) in an ideal ratio of 2 to 3: 1. Germinated hemp is also popular thanks to the extra-high content of insoluble fiber (almost 30%) that gently irritates the intestinal wall and thus generates natural peristaltic joints, which are especially appreciated by those who have problems with emptying.
Hemp seed is an excellent source of Group B vitamins, including folic acid, vitamin E and many minerals such as iron, magnesium, copper, zinc, phosphorus and manganese.
Hemp can be be eaten raw, or roasted for a while in a pan with unrefined sea salt or spices, or sweet with rice or barley malt or coconut sugar . Or add to bread or savory pastries as a crunchy ingredient. Can be added to muesli, salads, and so on.
Gently germinated hemp seed is great for making hemp milk. Add the seed to a suitable mixer, add a little water and mix it well. Then add 1: 5 to 1:15 water to the seed - depending how intense you want the milk, then strain through a fine sieve. Honey or any other natural sweetener of your choice can be added to the milk, or flavour with vanilla, cocoa, Ceylon cinnamon, or just have it as is.
